Hazelcast Appoints Greg Luck as CEO Industry Leader for In-Memory Java Takes the Reins at Hazelcast

Palo Alto, CA – June 18 Hazelcast, provider of the leading In-Memory Data Grid announced the appointment of Greg Luck as CEO. Founder Talip Ozturk will take the role of CTO and Board member at Hazelcast.

Hazelcast recently announced the launch of its flagship commercial software offering Hazelcast Enterprise and has grown from 6 people in Istanbul Turkey to 32 people worldwide and has moved its headquarters to Palo Alto, California.

Ehcache is the most widely used Java cache in the world with one million developers across 190 countries on 2.5 million deployments. Greg also co-authored the JCache specification which provides a standard API for Java Caching and In-Memory Computing.
